Specific requirements

  • Only dogs and cats are allowed.
  • The pet must be at least four months old and no older than eight years.
  • You must provide a complete, current vaccination record; pets under one year old must have proof of booster shots.
  • The pet must not have any illness at the time of travel.
  • The pet must have internal and external parasite treatment.

Specific exclusions

  • Checkups, consultations, or tests that are not related to an emergency.
  • Vaccinations, parasite treatment, and illnesses resulting from their absence.
  • Pets that are pregnant, ill, or under medical treatment when the trip begins.
  • Pets outside the permitted age range or without a current vaccination record.
  • Pets that do not meet legal requirements for international travel.
  • All other applicable exclusions in the main Best Travel Assistance agreement.

Both the departure and return days are included. For example, the 16th through the 23rd is 8 days. Multi-trip plans must also comply with the maximum days per departure.
